First of all, Happy April Fools!! I can say with confidence that I won't be really celebrating this holiday today, haha. I fool people all the time.
Anyways, since it's the first day of a brand new month, that means I get to tell you all what my favorites were the previous month! YAY!
"Dangerous Woman" by Ariana Grande
I listened to this song when she first released it and absolutely fell in love! It's now on repeat every day!
"Ari" by Ariana Grande and "Killer Queen" by Katy Perry Perfume
I first smelled "Ari" when I walked into Kohl's with my mom and we both absolutely loved the smell and practically drenched ourselves in it, then bought it. I never imagined her perfume to actually smell as good as it does and after that I actually got more interested in knowing more about her. "Killer Queen" has always been a perfume I've been interested in and I just recently bought it. I found it on sale for such a great price at Marshall's and bought it right away! I now have two new perfumes and I love them both! (A giant plus- the bottles are the cutest things ever. Bottles matter.)
History of Fashion Designers
I've never been really interested in the history of Fashion Designers until the month of March! I've been non-stop researching, reading, and watching biographies and memoirs about them and it's so interesting to me! History has never been a strong subject of mine but I think that's only because I've never been exposed to a topic in history that I've literally been this fascinated in! Also, I'm extremely excited about going to school for Fashion Design and Merchandising next year so like I said in my previous blog called "Books on the Most Iconic Fashion Designers of All Time", I want to be prepared and ready for anything coming my way!
Organic Coconut Oil
I've started using organic coconut oil for the ends of my hair and body lotion. Coconut oil can be used for practically anything you can think of and it's extremely healthy for you! I've been looking for new ways to be healthy and coconut oil is definitely a big thing that I've been loving lately!
Parks and Recreation
I've been watching this show for months now but in the month of March, I decided to actually watch them in order. This show is now one of my absolute favorites! I love all the characters and all of the episodes! Such a great show seriously love it! I also cried at the very last episode because it's so sad that it had to end.
I've been buying fashion magazines non-stop which you all already know, if you've read my "Secret Art Project" blog. Not only am I buying them for my art project, I also really enjoy looking throughout them and reading the articles! I've loved fashion magazines for as long as I can remember but I feel like I haven't bought them this much until recently. Fashion magazines are the best magazines!
I honestly don't know why, but I've been recently loving the color lavender. It's such a light, fresh, beautiful color and I've been wanting it in everything! I finally bought a luggage set, not only because I've been needing to for a few years now, but for my trip I'll be taking next month! I am in love with my new luggage set and I'm so happy I was able to get it in lavender! I also bought the luggage for such a great deal so there's that too!
I love the look of fur coats and other fur products, but I will always reach for the faux instead of the real. I don't believe in killing animals for their fur so faux fur is my shit. I love my faux fur coat so much and I try to wear it as much as possible! I got it for a great deal at Forever 21 and it's so comfy and warm! I've also been loving the faux fur ball keychains! My mom actually bought me one and I'm absolutely loving it! It looks so cute on bags and backpacks and I feel like it's more personalized when you add you own touch to it! Love it!
Ask anyone who has shopped with me or seen my bag collection, I normally love huge purses. Recently though, I've been reaching for my cross-body purses and when I go shopping, I spend more time looking at the cross-bodies as well as backpacks too. I'm a small person, so even though I love having a lot of shit with me at all times and usually prefer bigger bags, I feel like it's more convenient to carry around a cross-body or backpack and only keep the necessities with me. It's also a lot easier to take care of and it doesn't weigh me down.
Marshalls / TJ Maxx
Whenever I go into town with my mom, we always take a stroll through Marshalls and go crazy. MY NEW FAVORITE STORE! What I love other than the store sells designer cheap and other random shit cheap, is that every time you go in, there's always new & different stuff to look at!! This is the place where I bought my luggage set and for right now I'm looking for a black backpack big enough to hold my laptop for the flight next month- but certainly NOT a backpack that's huge/bulky and ugly. I found some online that I like but that's the kind of thing I'd rather buy in person since I'm looking for it to be a certain width/height. Anyways, Marshalls has been my go-to store for just about everything lately and I'm pretty sure my mom and I are going to be visiting the Marshalls and TJMaxx stores in Toledo or Ann Arbor here soon! I'm excited as all hell because the Marshalls store that's in town close to where I live, is super small so I'm so ready to have more of a variety to look at! So hopefully I'll find the perfect bag! If not, I'll probably end up buying something that's irrelevant and be happy as shit, let's be honest.
Thanks so much for reading and have a wonderful day!
