So today I figured I'd do a short Q&A because I haven't done one yet on my blog I don't think and I feel like it's a really good way to connect with my readers. The whole reason why I created this blog was to find people out there who I can relate to and vise versa. My whole life I was the outcast and no one really understood me so hopefully the more I put myself out there, eventually I'll find someone who truly gets me.
Q: If you could change your name to anything, what would it be and why?
A: Since my name is so common, I would change it to something unique. I really actually like guy names for girls. I'm not sure why, other than the reason that it's totally badass.. I have a few ideas to what I'll be naming my kids (if I have any), but I feel like the people who have non-common names are just 10 times cooler.
Q: What's your favorite thing to do when you're upset?
A: When I'm upset, I tend to act like I don't care about anything. I leave my phone alone, I lock myself in my bedroom, and I fight the constant thoughts in my head. I'm the kind of person who over-thinks just about everything, so I feel like I get more upset than others. I worry a lot and I try to hide it but it never works around the people who know me. I'm pretty emotional and it shows through my facial expressions, which is the most annoying thing ever. I just try to think of positive thoughts as much as possible and if I put on a movie or one of my favorite shows, then everything will eventually go away and I'll be fine again.
Q: How do you cope with breakups whether it's friendships or relationships?
A: I strongly believe that everything happens for a reason so if something isn't working out, then there's usually a great explanation for it. I deal with every "breakup" differently though, if I really care about mine and that person's friendship or relationship I will most definitely try my best to make it work but if it keeps going to hell then there's not much I can do. People also change over time so if it's not working out now, I believe it could possibly work out better in the future. You just really have to have hope that everything will eventually work out & that you'll be happy again.
Q: What are you the most excited for?
A: I'm always excited to see how my future will go. That's definitely something I worry the most about actually. Sometimes I honestly think I'll die alone and I know that sounds completely depressing but I don't really think of it that way. I already plan on living alone for a while with my two dogs before I get into another serious relationship again. I really do hope that I'll find a great guy eventually but until then, I really just want to be independent and concentrate on myself and reach my life goals. I just hope in the future I'll be proud of myself for everything that I've done and live a happy life.
Q: What are your greatest achievements so far?
A: I would say my greatest achievement so far is how comfortable I have become with being myself. For so long I've struggled with finding myself and having the courage to really express myself but I would say in the beginning of this year, I have really came out of my shell and become the person I was always meant to be. I am a completely different person than I was a year ago and even my family and friends have told me that I seem so much more happier and confident than I used to. It's definitely a great feeling to know that you can finally be yourself after all those years of being someone you're not.
Alright well that's the end of this little Q&A. I hope you enjoyed knowing a little more about me and my thoughts on some personal things in life. If you'd like for me to do another one of these personal Q&A's, then make sure to comment or "like" below. I hope you all have a great rest of your day & weekend!
