Currently, I am reading Drew Barrymore's new book "Wildflower". It's a memoir about her life and all the things she's gone through from her perspective. She talks about her family, previous jobs, friends, kids, etc.
I really enjoyed this book and before I read it, I honestly didn't know much about Drew but I loved practically every movie that she's been in so I figured it'd be an interesting read and it definitely was.
What I loved most about it is the "Adam" chapter. The whole chapter is dedicated to Adam Sandler and it honestly was so adorable. I know they're like best friends and really close but there's something in me that wonders why they never got married. They just seem like they'd be the perfect couple! You could tell throughout the whole thing that she loves Adam. Maybe not as she would if he was really her husband, but there's definitely some powerful love there. At the end of the chapter she says "I now know a man named Adam, and trust me when I say, he is as great as you want him to be." So cute! Get married.
Drew Barrymore seems like the most fun, intelligent, and the most down-to-earth nicest person ever! She's been through so much but you can tell that everything she's gone through has molded her into the human being she is today, and she wouldn't take any of it back. Who would? She's had some hard times, sure, but who hasn't? Plus everything that she has done is absolutely incredible and she met so many people on the way that mean the WORLD to her! Drew definitely has that "happy-go-lucky" vibe to her and it sounds like she's been that way ever since she was little.
I have respect for Drew Barrymore and I'm so happy I ended up reading her book. I recommend it to anyone who might need a pick-me-up or if you just like memoirs and like to read about people's lives like me!
Thank you so much for reading, as always, and let me know if you have any book recommendations.. Not like I need anymore books on my "To Read" list though.. But I'm always still up for it!
P.S. My "Reading List Part 2" blog will be coming up this Friday, so you'll see what I'm talking about when I say my reading list is FULL! Also, if you plan on reading that blog, make sure you're on your computer and not your phone. Lots of books to scroll through, just saying.
