Hello everyone & welcome to Blogmas day 2! Today's blog will be about my Christmas Tree and I will also go over some traditional ornaments that have gone up every single year since I could remember.. Let's get started!
So as you read in a couple blogs back, my mom and I ran into some Christmas tree difficulties while we were trying to put up our tree. We lost the damn lights and the pre-lit tree was only lighting up the middle. Don't know why but it was, and it was also very sad looking. We now have many lights for it so it's now pretty and insanely colorful again!
Every single year we put up some of the same ornaments. I seriously have about 15 different ornaments with my name written all over it. I'm guessing my parents were really into personalization when it came to Christmas decorations. Thank God we now limited it down to only one.
This ornament always has to be in dead center of the tree and hung up by only one person, my Dad. My dad was born in Illinois and he's a huge Chicago Bears fan, along with the rest of my family on his side. This ornament has been hanging on that tree I think even before I was born. I have never not seen our tree without it in my entire life.
A new addition to this year, I have my own little Christmas tree!! I used to have a pink barbie one while I was younger, which was freaking sweet, but now I have a gold one that's even better & looks more my age.
This Christmas tree is so shiny and looks incredible with the lights, faux fur tree skirt underneath, ornaments, and a big star tree topper! (That also lights up) It's so festive and I love laying in bed blogging or watching YouTube videos, while my tree's lit and lights are off! It makes my room have a cozy and Christmassy vibe to it! So relaxing, I love it!
That's all for today's blog! Thank you all so much for reading! I wonder if anyone else has their Christmas tree up already! Every year my Mom and I put up our tree the day after Thanksgiving. No one else really helps because my Dad and brother's are freaking LAME and always tells us it's too early! Well it's not too early, Thanksgiving is now in the past, & it's now freaking time for Christmas! Ahh!
