Today's blog is going to be about the celebrities who inspire me. There are quite a few but in all honestly, who doesn't have a list of celeb's who motivates them and encourages them to be the person who they are today? There's also a great amount of family and friends who inspire me as well, so there's that too.
The first celebrity who inspires me of course is Emma Roberts. If you know ANYTHING about me then you would already know that Emma is my role model and has been for YEARS! Late last year, I wrote a blog about her and another favorite celebrity of mine (who I will talk more about next) retweeted my tweet on twitter and I seriously could have died right there and then because my life was MADE! Of course I'm glad I didn't actually end up dying but anyways, you get what I'm saying. What inspires me about Emma the most is how honestly talented she is. I've watched and read many many interviews of her and she seems like the coolest person ever. I've been watching her act ever since she starred on "Unfabulous" and from then to now, she's grown as an actress and now she's seriously kick ass in every movie/show! She totally KILLED it in "Scream Queens" and she will keep killing it in pretty much everything because she's honestly that awesome.
Ryan freaking Murphy. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Ryan Murphy is a genius. He's also the first one to retweet my tweet before Emma Roberts did. Anyways though, for those of you who don't know, Ryan is the genius behind "Glee", "American Horror Stories", and "Scream Queens". MY THREE FAVORITE SHOWS EVER! (Well, one of many of my favorite shows. I have TONS of favorite shows, but that's for a different blog.) He really knows how to create some bomb ass shows and without his creativity, I wouldn't be the person that I am today. So thank you Ryan Murphy. You inspire me and I love you.
Aubrey Plaza. If you have never seen an interview with Aubrey Plaza, then you haven't lived. She is the most awkward, funny, scary but in a good way kind of person. She is my spirit animal even though she technically isn't an animal but you get what I'm saying. I first heard about Aubrey when my sister said that she makes me think of her. I had no idea who she was and I also never watched "Parks and Recreation" then, so I honestly had no idea who this amazing person was! Then I looked her up and started watching the show (which is actually one of my favorite shows ever) and I was like YAS! It was the best compliment that I have ever received. EVER! She's just herself 100% of the time, even though she's so different than the others around her. If she doesn't inspire you to be no one but yourself, then honestly who does?
Tim Burton. I know I've mentioned this before, but I wish to live in a Tim Burton world. Everyone's pale, beautiful, dark, then spotted with a bright color here and there. It's just extremely gorgeous and whenever I think of an imaginary place where I'd want to escape to every day it'd be in a world that he created. I believe that's why I adore his movies and stories so much, I imagine myself in the character's point of view.
Alexander McQueen. Talk about the Tim Burton of Fashion Design! Of course I would not only love Alexander and his creations because it reminds me of TB, but because he himself is just an extraordinary person! He had a tough life, but he always believed in himself and I think that's really inspiring. Throughout school, I will definitely think of Alexander McQueen and I will look at his work for inspiration and his confidence.
Coco Chanel. I constantly read quotes of Chanel's. Her classiness as a powerful woman in the fashion industry is extremely inspirational. She's well known for her lifelong determination, ambition, and energy in which she applied to her professional and social life. I will not only look to McQueen, I will also be looking to Chanel for inspiration throughout my days in school and throughout life!
Ariana Grande. Now, when I say that Ariana Grande inspires me, I even get pretty damn shocked since I barely ever talk about her, until now. I've been noticing that Ariana sticks up for "no boobs", "no butt", small, petite people like me. Which is very eye opening to me because I feel like in today's society, looks literally is everything. I feel like now that it's important for plus sized girls to feel comfortable in their skin, which is 100% important and I give them my full support, but people now put down girls like me who feel like they have nothing. I have struggled for years to feel comfortable in my own skin and when I read articles, see interviews, or even see her snapchat stories and her Instagram pictures, she gives me the courage to feel happy for what I have. She has sort of the same kind of petite body as me and she's always saying very inspiring stuff and telling body shamers off practically every chance she gets which is what I love about her. I think she's way more intelligent than what people think and I know that there's been some negative things said about who she really is when you meet her, but even though she might (or might not) be that way (which I hope she isn't), I appreciate her for sticking up for girls like me who feel like they "don't have anything to offer". Thank you Ariana for being confident in your skin and giving me the encouragement to be comfortable in mine.
Zoe Sugg. I look to Zoe when I need to feel happy, inspired, need new outfit ideas, makeup ideas, and just when I feel like I need an encouraging boost. She is an extremely successful women and I respect her a lot for not acting like it. When I say that, I mean that she doesn't let the money and fame change her in any way. I've watched Zoe's old to newest videos and aside from her being more comfortable in front of the camera and more happy with her vlogger boyfriend Alfie Deyes, she's pretty much the same person. It just gives me comfort in knowing that being successful doesn't always change people for the worst. Zoe also gives me vlogging inspiration and every time I watch her videos, I constantly think of how I'll do mine in the near future.
So there you go! Those are the top celebrities that I can think of off the top of my head who inspire me daily! Thank you all so much for reading and I apologize for this blog going up late! I just wanted to put in the time and effort to say why they inspire me in the best possible way.
